January partner: Morris Hospital Auxiliary & Foundation

Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers was founded 112 years ago by caring people who were determined to bring health and healing to our community. Over time, the hospital has grown and changed, but our hearts are still in the same place: our community.

The giving spirit that first opened our doors is still here today. The Morris Hospital Auxiliary & Foundation continues this legacy by engaging the community in philanthropic support for the hospital. Donations allow the hospital to enhance patient services and programs, purchase advanced medical equipment, and provide for what might otherwise be impossible. Volunteers give their wisdom, creativity, and time to make someone smile or comfort families who are worried about a loved one.

People like Mick, a 16-year-old student who was diagnosed with an unknown cardiac condition at our Rhythm of Our Youth screening, and Terri, a single-mom who used our Patient Transportation service to get to and from her medical appointments after recovering from brain surgery, are just two examples of these donations at work.

We know that motivation behind generosity comes from many places: gratitude for an exceptional experience, belief in a vision of loving-kindness, faith in a mission to ensure healthcare for all, desire to help those in need. Whatever your motivation, be assured, your gift to the Auxiliary & Foundation will impact the lives of children, families, and seniors in our community who count on Morris Hospital to be here for them.

How can you help?

There are many needs in our community and wonderful organizations that help increase the quality of life for our community.
